Yummy Mulled Wine Fruit Infusion loose leaf

With the Festive Season upon us, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a hot cup of our Yummy Mulled Wine fruit tea and have a cosy night in.

Mulled Wine in a tea, we hear you exclaim. Actually, it’s a delicious spiced orange fruit infusion that's packed with orange peel, apple pieces, and Christmas spices including cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom (see full ingredient list below).

As well as being 100% alcohol free, this spicy fruit infusion is also naturally caffeine free, which means you can drink it day and night without it affecting your sleep.

How to prepare it

We recommend using one teaspoon per serving and using freshly drawn water at 100°C and brewing for at least 3 minutes, although we think it gets better the longer you leave it. While this tea is delicious by itself a little spoon of honey is a nice way to sweeten it.

Proper Mulled Wine

Fancy turning a bottle of red into a wonderfully aromatic and spicy Mulled Wine? Then just add one tablespoon of Yummy Mulled Wine per bottle and heat gently on the hob. For extra decadence add a few slices of orange to the mix. You can always replace the red wine with apple cider. 

A delicious fruit juice alternative (apple & cranberry)

Alternatively, for a non-alcoholic version (we love this version), replace the red wine with fruit juice. Add one heaped tablespoon of Yummy Mulled Wine (15g) to two parts cranberry juice and one part apple juice (one litre in total). Heat on the hob at about 70°C for 10 – 15 mins not forgetting the orange slices for an exceptionally tasty treat.

We think our Yummy Mulled Wine tea is best served around an open fire or curled up on a sofa and a movie for a cosy night in.
