Premium Jasmine Green Tea Loose Leaf

Our loose leaf Jasmine Green Tea, which has a wonderful floral aroma, is an incredible green tea that tastes amazing. As soon as you open the pack, you’ll be enticed by its sweet floral notes. Once brewed, you're left with a beautiful clean and refreshing green tea that is simply divine. 

How does it get the Jasmine flavour?

The base of our Jasmine Green Tea is from Guangxi where it is locally scented with Jasmine flowers. The blossoms are picked during the day and stored until night. They naturally open in the evening and are therefore more fragrant at night. The blossoms are layered with the green tea so it can be naturally scented. This can be done over a number of nights for a deeper scent. Once the scenting process is finished the blossoms are removed. 

How do you brew this tea?

The best way to brew this tea is using fresh water at 80°C for 2 to 3 minutes. Do not use boiling water as this will scorch the green tea leaves and make it taste slightly bitter. If you don't have a temperature controlled kettle, then wait a few minutes after the kettle has boiled before preparing this tea.
