Christmas Blend Spiced Black Tea loose leaf

Deck the halls with boughs of holly and put the kettle on because our Christmas Blend is back for another year! If you’re not in the Christmas spirit yet or you’re feeling a bit Bah Humbug’, then our spiced black tea is just the tonic for the festive season. It's packed full of fragrant spices that will get you in the mood for Christmas quicker than it takes to bellow Five Gold Rings!

This winter warmer blends Assam black tea with rose petals and a variety of spices including cinnamon, ginger, cardamom seeds, and cloves to names a few (see full ingredients list below). While our Christmas tea always tastes delicious we think it's best served around an open fire with family and friends for the best Yuletide experience!

We recommend using one teaspoon per serving and brewing it at 100°C for 3-4 minutes. Although this spicy tea is superb by itself, we love adding a dash of milk and sugar (or honey) for an even more sumptuous treat.

If you fancy upping the ‘chai experience’ then try making it on the hob. To do this, gently heat 1 pint (approximately 0.6l) of milk and about 15g (one heaped tablespoon) of tea. Heat for about 10 minutes and stir intermittently ensuring it doesn’t boil (keep it to about 70°C). You can also try adding a handful of dried Medjool dates for a rich caramel flavour. When done, carefully decant into a wide-brimmed jug, before pouring into individual mugs using a strainer. We promise ‘Yule’ love it!!!
